Away from work, Andy is a proud father of three children. His eldest son, Callum (19), is an aspiring actor pursuing a career in the performing arts. His daughter Amelia (16) is currently studying at Colchester Sixth Form College, while his youngest daughter Molly (10) is a talented gymnast and rugby player who has proudly qualified to represent England at the Dance World Cup.
Andy loves nothing more than assisting his clients with the highest levels of customer service and ensuring their homes are presented to the market with outstanding quality. Passionate about innovation, he is heavily involved in technology and is constantly implementing the latest industry-leading tools and systems, helping to keep Church & Hawes at the forefront of the property market and ahead of the competition.
Outside of estate agency, Andy enjoys rugby and assists in running Drapers Farm Sports Rugby Club. He also has a keen interest in countryside conservation. When time allows, he loves nothing more than donning his deerstalker hat and heading out with his two Dachshunds, Percy and Penny, to enjoy the Essex countryside.

Nathan Swain
Senior Branch Manager
Having been with Church & Hawes since 2006, Nathan has built an extensive career within the company, joining as a Trainee Negotiator before progressing through the business and becoming Office Manager in 2020.
With almost two decades of experience in the local property market, Nathan has developed a wealth of knowledge across Burnham-on-Crouch and the wider Dengie Peninsula, including Southminster, Maylandsea, Tillingham, Steeple, Althorne, St Lawrence and Bradwell-on-Sea. His in-depth understanding of the area, combined with his expertise in residential sales, allows him to provide clients with professional guidance and support throughout every stage of their property journey.
Living locally with his wife Lauren and their three children, Nathan has a genuine connection to the communities he serves and takes great pride in helping buyers and sellers achieve their property goals. Outside of work, he enjoys a variety of sports, particularly golf, football and motor racing.
Known for his approachable nature, strong work ethic and commitment to customer service, Nathan has become a trusted and respected member of both the Church & Hawes team and the local community.

Grant Flashman

My property career began straight from school when I worked as an estate agent in the London Docklands. In 1991, I joined Church & Hawes as a young negotiator and, 35 years later, I am still selling and letting property with the same enthusiasm and passion that first drew me to the industry.
For the past 28 years, I have been based at our busy South Woodham Ferrers office, where I have helped countless buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants navigate the property market. I pride myself on combining a wealth of experience with an approachable, personal manner, ensuring clients feel supported and confident throughout their property journey.
I believe successful estate agency is built on trust, communication and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for every client. Whether assisting first-time buyers, growing families, investors or those looking to downsize, I take great satisfaction in helping people make important property decisions.
Outside of work, I spend much of my time supporting my son as he pursues a career in motorsport, travelling the length and breadth of the UK attending race meetings. The dedication, determination and teamwork required in racing are qualities that reflect my own approach to both life and business.
After more than three decades in the industry, my passion for property remains as strong as ever, and I continue to enjoy helping clients across South Woodham Ferrers and the surrounding areas achieve their property goals.
